What are the speed test results of the Ivacy VPN?
One of the most decisive factors, when choosing a good VPN provider, is the results of testing the speed of download and the upload, as well as the ping value. While it’s obvious that speed is going to drop, when using the Internet over the VPN, the question is, how badly the speed would decrease? Some of our readers, have been complaining of mediocre, and simply unacceptable speed, when using the cheapest or even free VPN providers. What about Ivacy VPN? Honestly, we haven’t received any data about it, from our readers. So, let’s continue with this review, and see, which results, we received, when speed-testing the Ivacy VPN by ourselves.
Testing the VPN provider speed is not an easy task. In order, for results to be as precise as possible, we had to perform speed analysis for different servers, and locations. With Ivacy VPN, it is not easy to measure the connection speed, due to a relatively big amount of servers (1000+ servers, scattered across 100+ locations all around the world).
In order to improve test results, we’ve picked 3 major locations: US, Europe, and Asia. In each of the 3 locations, we’ve tested different Ivacy VPN servers. We’ve tested the speed in a several cities and states in the US. For Europe we did apply the same process. We’ve tested a few servers in different countries like: Germany, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, and UK (we included the UK in our European speed test as well). In Asia, we tested the speed of Hong Kong, Singapore, and we’ve also included Australian servers as a bonus in this speed test.

As you can see, the best results have been achieved, when testing the US located servers (which is something most users want from the VPN provider). Singapore test results are better, but, it is expected, since we’ve been testing the speed when being in Thailand. UK speed test results, are also good. Same is for Australia. European servers scored the lowest. Ping is pretty high for most of the servers (this is pretty standard situation for VPN providers, when testing distant servers, even for more expensive services like ExpressVPN). Upload speed suffers the most for all the tested servers. This again, is the same for every other VPN provider we’ve been testing.

Now, as we are aware of expected speed drop, when using Ivacy VPN with different servers, let’s have an overview of the UI and features you are getting, in case you decide to start using the Ivacy VPN.

What about the streaming services (Netflix USA, HBO, Hulu?)
We were only able to test Ivacy VPN with Netflix, as we currently don’t have access to HBO and Hulu. It has been confirmed during our tests: Ivacy VPN unblocks the access to Netflix USA!

Next screenshot is made, after connecting to the US VPN server, using the Ivacy VPN. As you have noticed, the Netflix USA is available, and can be watched right away.
Ivacy VPN pricing. Is Ivacy VPN expensive?
Ivacy VPN offers the democratic prices. Considering the speed test results we got, it would make no sense for us to pay high ticket price equal to ExpressVPN, for lower speeds and less variety of servers. Same is true about the non-logging policy, which might be a concern, since Ivacy is based in Singapore. That’s why, we are considering Ivacy VPN as a best price/quality ratio VPN service provider.
